A set of five French Empire style salts, Paris, 1888-1902, marked MG for Martial Gauthier, the oval openwork bodies with with pierced ribbon tied floral swags on reeded supports, each with blue glass liner, 6.4cm wide; together with a pair of French cylindrical mustard pots by the same maker, the hinged domed lids with bud finals and the openwork bodies with ribbon tied floral swags and foliage, with blue glass liners, 10.5cm high, total weighable weight approx. 8.2oz (7) Provenance: Works of Art from the Schroder Collection.
