A set of four Italian marmo cipollino and white marble mounted columnar pedestals
A set of four Italian marmo cipollino and white marble mounted columnar pedestals, 19th century, each circular section shaft descending to moulded circular socles, on square bases, 123cm high, the bases 41cm square
Provenance: Property from a Private Collection
Please see Christie's London, 10 September 2009, lot 413 for a basically identical set of four pedestals
Condition Report:
All four with marks, knocks, scratches, scuffs, abrasions, consistent with age and use, a number of old chips and losses to marble mainly to the edges and extremities - the bases with most chips and losses overall, most of these appear to be old damage but one or two are more fresh and recent. The pedestals are entirely stable overall. Please note as to be expected these are very heavy objects
