Each salt profusely embossed with leaves and scrolls on a matt ground and on a plain round foot, mark of Edgar Findlay & Hugh Taylor (Horrace Woodward & Co.), London 1885, 4.5cm high (1 3/4 inches), the spoons each with an embossed and gilded bowl and rope twist handle with ball finisal, conforming maker, Birmingham 1883; the eight weigh 126g gross (a fraction over 4 ozs), in a fitted brown-leather and gilt-tooled case
