A set of four small Portuguese silver ashtrays & stand, each of circular form, stand with assay marks for Lisbon, 833 standard, height 3.5" (9cm). Together with a Portuguese tea strainer on stand, with wood handle, Porto 833 standard, and a further small strainer with French Minerva mark. Gross weight including wood handle 8.83 ozt (274.7 grams).
Condition Report:
- All pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
- Ashtrays and stand appear in good overall condition. Slight knocks to base rim.
- Assay marks to the four ashtrays obscured with polish and dirt residues but are probably the small Lisbon mark.
- One foot of the Portuguese strainer is very squashed. The hinged part appears in good working order but leans slightly to one side. Assay marks clear.
