A set of six German metalwares silver stacking shot cups together with a further two pairs, all of plain conical form, the side with initials M.A.N. and date, underside struck with Halbmond und Reichskrone (crescent and crown), six marked WMF for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, additionally struck ‘925’ and ‘STERLING’, 3.4cm diameter at the rim, 2.5cm diameter at the base, 4cm high, a pair with mark of Kühn Gebrüde, additionally struck ‘925’ (3 x 2.3 x 4.5cm) and a further pair with mark of Wilkens, additionally struck ‘835’ and ‘8026’ (3.6 x 2.6 x 4.2 cm), 226.4g (7.3ozt) gross (10) M.A.N. (abbreviation of Maschinenfabrik) was a manufacturing and engineering company based in Munich, Germany. Founded in 1758, it was taken over by Volkswagen in 2021.
