A set of six rare blue and white 'peony' saucer-dishes
Yongzheng six-character marks and of the period
Each with shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapering food, painted in rich cobalt-blue on the interior with a medallion of three dominant stylised peonies borne on leafy scrolling meander, the exterior similarly decorated with a frieze of scrolling peonies, all within double-line borders. Each 15.1cm (6in) diam. (6).
