The crests of the LESLIE-MELVILLE family beneath an earl's coronet for the Earl of Leven and Melville.
Crest one: a dexter arm embowed in armour the hand grasping a sword all proper and motto: PRO REGE ET PATRIA (For My king and country) (LESLIE)
Crest two: the head of a ratch hound erased sable and motto: DENIQUE COELUM (Heaven at last) (MELVILLE)
At the time of the making of these plates the title was held by David Melville, 6th Earl of Leven (1722-1802)
