A short musket after a Swedish model of 1624, Jönköping circa 1630
Beschreibung: Two-stage barrel, octagonal then round, with smooth bore in 20 mm calibre. Original armoury muzzle protector inserted in the muzzle. Dovetailed sights, at the breech struck acceptance mark "IL". Small rectangular pan with flash guard and swivelling cover. Lock plate marked "IW", the cock with original match. Beech wood full stock with simple iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip and threaded sleeve. Length 135 cm. Flintlock musket of the Swedish troops manufactured according to the requirements defined in the decree issued by King Gustav Adolf in 1624.
