A signed large gilt silver pectoral ornament - Turkestan, Teke tribe - 1880-1900
Worn on the chest. The large lozenge-shaped ornament is finely decorated throughout with gilded scrollwork and carnelian stones. On the top of the jewel, there is openwork and three rings for hanging. Silver tassels set with carnelian cabochon hang from the bottom of the piece.
The piece is signed by the maker on the back.
