Bartlett" pocket watch, 18 size, 7 jewels, key wind and set gilt plate movement with lever escapement, steel balance and diamond endstone in a silver, plain polished hunting case, roman numeral white enamel dial signed "American Watch Co.", with blued steel spade hands, serial #40355
Condition Report: CASE: Shallow dents; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Front cover hinge sticky; Rear cover snap worn; Small area of pitting on inside of front cover; Bow worn. DIAL: Faint hairline, 12:00. HANDS: Specks of oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; Small clusters of fine scratches; Fine scratches near case screw; Spotting and minor discoloration; Case screw replaced; A few screws with minor oxide and losses to blue. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), circa 1860
