R.R. 20.", roman numeral white enamel dial signed "American Watch Co.", with blued steel hands, serial #98862
Condition Report: CASE: Minor dents; Dings; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on cuvette; Case knife scratches; Punch marks on interior of case front from dent removal, some telegraphing through the cover; Engraving with minor wear; Front cover with gap at band when closed; Bow and pusher cap replaced; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Faint hairline, 5:00; Flakes in enamel, most concealed by bezel. HANDS: Minor oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine marks and scratches on plate; Minor spotting; Balance stud and regulator with specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Ticks briefly, needs service, circa 1865
