A silver coloured metal and glazed cylindrical hall lantern
A silver coloured metal and glazed cylindrical hall lantern, second half 20th century, the four bowed panes beneath a gallery of conjoined openwork circlets, with four scrolled supports rising to the ceiling fitment, four electrical fitments within, 86cm high
Condition Report:
Minor marks, knocks, scuffs and scratches overall consistent with age and use. The casting is irregular and somewhat crude in places. The lack of definition caused by this is due to the manufacture of the lantern. The silver coloured coating is also a little irregular and scuffed in places. The bud finials have drilled holes to the sides, and may have previously been elements of something else. The interior has been entirely refitted, and contains modern light fittings. Please have the lot tested by a certified electrician prior to use.
