unmarked, the upper pear shaped face depicting a polychrome enamel image of a standing male figure under a rock crystal cover, the frame pierced with the text '+AELFRED MEC HEH GEWYRCAN' (Alfred ordered me to be made) with pelleted border and textured band, issuing beast head with socket with bar for suspension, the reverse engraved with scrolling foliate decoration with printed paper label by Payne & Sons dated 1901 and numbered 306, in a fitted red leather and satin lined case stamped Payne and Son Oxford

Condition: Good condition commensurate with age, no apparent fault. Some wear to satin lining of case
