A silver-gilt crucifix with case, 19th century
Gilt-silver. On a round, multiply moulded foot. The foot detachable, serving as a reliquary compartment. On each arm of the cross a circular medallion with the four Evangelist symbols. The reverse with a hinged cover; inside a small, round reliquary box with a push-fit lid (diameter: 3.8 cm). Unmarked. One element broken off. Height: 23 cm (including loop), weight: 271 gr. In the original holster with velvet insert, length: 24 cm.
