A silver mounted French smallsword, ca. 1740Slender, double-edged blade with a flattened medial ridge, the surface partially with light pitting. Remains of etched band decor on both sides of the root, along with manufacturer's designation "... Paris". Fine silver guard with relief decor on a finely chiselled ground. Old repair at the lower junction of the knuckle-bow. Grip with silver wire winding and Turk's heads. Length 90 cm.Condition: II -
