of hinged ovoid form with silver mounts and lining, profusely carved and decorated with a central cartouche depicting Vishnu reclining on Shesha to one side, surrounded by eight roundels containing further forms of Vishnu, to the other side a central cartouche containing palms surrounded by six further roundels containing forms of Vishnu
