The base of the shaker is an original brass shell casing, dating to 1915, this contains a chrome plated frame holding four clear glasses, the removable plated shaker is a facsimile of an eighteen pounder shrapnel shell, also stamped 'patent applied for in America and Foreign countries', with a copper driving band to the lower base, the removable brass 'fuse cap' with internal strainer and with a further removable cap, height 56cm.
