A similarly matched 1930's silver mounted part dressing table set, including a hand mirror, hair brush, clothes brush and two lidded glass pots, each with yellow guilloche enamelled decoration, hallmarked Lanson Ltd., Birmingham 1934, pots hallmarked Albert Carter, Birmingham 1934, length of mirror measuring 10 1/2 inches (27 cm). Together with a modern silver mounted photograph frame, the rectangular aperture with conforming plain surround and mounted on a material easel reverse, hallmarked Kitney & Co (Gordon & Christopher Kitney), London 1994, plus a George V silver mounted hand mirror (a/f). In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Significant losses and damage to the enamelled decoration on the hand mirror and clothes brush, with some minor chips and losses on the lidded pots. The bristle on the brushes are discoloured and have dirt residue. Minor nibbles to the glass bodies of the pots. One of the lids has a circular aperture to the centre. Minor scratches and dints to the mount on the photograph frame. The George V hand mirror is missing its mirror plate with some noticeable bumps o the mount around the edge. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
