A single stone diamond ring, c.1950, an old oval cut diamond of approximately 0.70ct set in an eight-claw collet, to raised platinum shoulders with stylised leaf detailing further set with single cut diamonds, into a plain gold band, stamped 18ct Plat, 2.37g Principal diamond assessed as: Colour G/H Clarity VS Ring size M½ Buying this diamond ring at auction could save up to 0.42 tonnes of CO2e compared to buying new. Condition Report: Diamond bright and lively. No visible inclusions. The setting has some areas of tarnish which decrease the brightness of the diamond, otherwise of good colour. The ring would benefit from a professional clean & polish to bring back the sparkle.
