A small cabinet chest with star inlays
Solid walnut and walnut veneer, burr walnut, ebony, maple and boxwood veneer on softwood and oak corpus, wrought iron and brass mountings. Two-drawer front with curved gable. Containing six drawers in two rows. Restored, with a filled but subsequently opened crack on the reverse, the veneer of the cover presumably partially replaced. H 25, W 27, D 14 cm.
