A small figure of Fudô Myôô and acolytes. Late 19th century
The blue-skinned god formerly holding a sword and noose sits on a square rock bearing the characters Naritasan with Kongara Dôji to his right and Seitaka Dôji to his left, standing on rocks surrounded by waves, the waters originating from a waterfall springing from the main rock. Behind Fudô Myôô a flaming mandorla. On an integral oval base. At the back an illegible, gourd-shaped impressed mark.
The Blue Fudô Myôô is the main object of worship at Naritasan Shinshôji near Tokyo.
