A small sword for cuirassier officers, circa 1900
Narrow, straight back blade (pitted in places), with the Solingen wolf's hook mark at the root. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with heart-shaped guard, bulbous grip wound with nickel silver and copper wire, round pommel with detachable end. Black leather scabbard (losses to lacquer) with brass mounts (dents), the suspension hook stamped with collection mark “IL 10:198”. Attached silver portepee with black thread. Partially slightly damaged, distinct signs of handling and age. Length 100 cm.
