A tall Roman colorless glass bottle with pedestal foot

A tall Roman glass bottle, Eastern Mediterranean, 3rd - 4th Century AD, free-blown in colorless glass, the vessel pear-shaped with low pedestal foot. The mouth is lightly flared with rounded rim, a single trailing around the neck. H: 6 3/4 in (17.1 cm). Well-preserved with attractive mottled deposits. Ex Lecker collection, FL, acquired in the early 1980's.
