Of a shape reminiscent of two bamboo nodes, each section facetted, the middle part with a band of alternating fuku and kotobuki characters between two ridges. Chestnut-coloured patina. Signed Yasumi (= Nakajima Yasumi II, 1905-1986) at the base.
