The skull of the kulah khud forged in one piece, the riveted crown plate with a sturdy, quadrangular spike. Riveted, adjustable nasal bar, two plume sockets riveted at the side. The skull entirely covered with delicately chased floral décor, interspersed with gold and silver-inlaid cartouches. A continuous band of calligraphic cartouches chiselled along the lower edge. The attached aventail made of closed iron and brass rings, placed end to end. The circular shield (sipar) with a pronounced arch and four semi-circular shield bosses. A riveted brass flange around the edge. Identical chiselled decoration. The original red textile lining with a continuous border on the back. Associated forearm guard, the attached, two-part wrist protector connected with mail rings. Height of the helmet 65 cm, diameter of the shield 46 cm, length of the arm guard 34.5 cm.
