A tosei gusoku - samurai armour
dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, With iron, six-plated hachi, shape slightly cusped upwards, lacquered in black, with small fukigaeshi. Brass maedate of circular shape, very big, gilded, wooden wakidate with antennas. Four-plated shikooro with blue lacing. Iron hanpo, lacquered in red outside, with a hole for sweat and Odome, gilded three-plated yodare kake. Do lacquered in black, with light-blue lacing, kusazuri with iron elements, of lacquered five plates, with light-blue lacing. Interesting sode with iron plates, each composed of three, hinged elements, dark-blue lacing. Together with kote with black, iron plates, ring-mail and embroidered fabric. Haidate with rigid, leather and embroidered fabric plates. Suneate with iron plates. Mannequin is not included. Simple, wooden gusoku bitsu. height as shown circa 200 cm.
