Description
A very high quality English small-sword with cut steel hilt, 1770 - 1790. Incurved triangular section blade decorated with etched, blued and gilded ornaments. The hilt is very richly decorated with cut steel beads. The scabbard is covered with leather. Metal fittings at the top, the lower part of the scabbard is missing. Swords like this are rarely of such high quality. A wonderful collectible. Length 93 cm.
