Length of the blade 56 cm, hira zukuri, gunome midare hamon, masame-itame hada, rubbed. Nakago: ubu, two mekugi-ana, mei: Hiroie saku (Kaga, late 15th century ?). Two-part copper habaki. Koshirae: iron tsuba with mokkô hanabishi in sukashi, shibuichi fuchi with silver Fuji in relief, shibuichi kashira with guri patterns in relief, koiguchi, seme-gane and kojiri of copper, menuki in shape of round silver disks with two crossed feathers in shakudô. Cord binding over same. Saya: roiro lacquer. 19th century.
