A walnut and parcel gilt wall mirror, in George II style, 19th century, the arched rectangular twin mirror plate, within a moulded frame, surmounted by a shaped foliate and C-scroll moulded cresting centred by a carved shell motif, 185cm high, 75cm wideCondition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions, old chips and splits. comensurate with age and useold chips and splits. More chips of loss to the outer edges of the lower half of the mirror and a slender section of loss fromt he rear edge of the frame at the lower right corner. Wear to the gilding. The mirror plates with some relatively minor depletion at the edges (and where the two plates meet) in the form of very few small dark/ black areas and a small number of 'fogged' areas measuring a maximum approx 7 x 1cm at meeting of two plates.
