A well-engineered Stuart Turner model of a half-beam or grasshopper beam engine

A well-engineered Stuart Turner model of a half-beam or grasshopper beam engine, being model engineer built from Stuart castings. The beam with pierced end support and 'S' casting, A frame supported on circular column with steam chest and valve mounted on the outside with valve linked to eccentric on the central crank and having 7 inch spoked flywheel and small pulley wheel. The model is supported on a polished mahogany plinth with moulded edge and is finished in traditional green and red paintwork. Plinth 36cm x 20cm. Overall height 28cm.
