A well-preserved Egyptian limestone head of a man, likely a scribe, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, wearing short Nubian wig, his features quite handsome and very well-preserved. 3 3/8 x 2 3/8 x 3 in (8.5 x 6 x 7.6 cm). Light deposits. With removable antique cork base. Ex Albert Eid & Co., Cairo; Ex collection of Theodore Bachman, New York.
