A white gold diamond, ruby and synthetic ruby ring, c.1940,
with a brilliant cut diamond, four claw set to the centre. A graduated arch at each side, grain set with pairs of eight cut diamonds, with rows of gathered wires. Graduated rubies and synthetic rubies, one deficient, all four claw set, open hoop and split shoulders to a two row shank. Marked 750. Head 23.40 x 18.30mm, 7.24g.
