an oval mixed cut ruby, to a stepped two-tier surround of brilliant cut diamonds. All claw set to a wire basket, with tapered chenier shoulders and a flat section shank. Marked 18ct. Head 17.5 x 15.5mm, 5.84g.

Wear to rhodium plating on shank.
Minor abrasions to crown facet junctions of ruby, visible under 10x magnification, not easily visible with the naked eye.
Gemstones a little dirty, would benefit from being cleaned.
