Deftly carved in the form of a double gourd borne on leafy branches, the reverse slightly recessed forming the well with a clambering chilong, the translucent white stone with a russet marking, 5cm (2in) long; the pale green jade plaque intricately carved in openwork with a recumbent deer clasping a large leafy lingzhi spray in its mouth, 6.3cm (2 1/2in) long.
