A wonderful Egyptian deep blue glazed ushabti, Ptolemaic Period, c. 332 - 30 BC, depicted mummiform and standing on an integral base, with tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded across chest and holding a pick and hoe; vertical plinth at back. L: 4 3/8 in(11 cm). Wonderfully preserved with gorgeous deep blue glaze. Ex Toronto private collection.
