A wonderfully preserved Egyptian bronze Ibis, Ptolemaic Period, c. 332 - 30 BC, in characteristic pose with large eyes and wearing a beaded choker. The tail feathers are incised and the feet well modelled. 2 1/8 x 3 3/8 in(5.3 x 6 cm). Beautifully patinated and on antique custom wood base. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
