A wrought-iron, riveted safe, quadrangular in shape, clad in iron plates with large hemispherical rivets and featuring geometric and floral decoration; the door is centered with a large brass monogram “JB.” It opens with a key lock, revealing a shelf and a secret compartment. The door features a locking system with multiple bolts. The interior of the door reveals the locking mechanism, concealed beneath three circular brass covers. It rests on a blackened wooden base.
