36 volumes, 12mo (5 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.; 147 x 96mm). In text woodcut illustrations and maps, photographic plates tipped onto leaves, folding maps (Anthony Ponds, Fishing Brook, Wild Cat Mountain, Tirrell Pond, Raquette River, Pine Brook); one or two instances of minor dampstaining, minor offsetting, one or two stray spots. Original birch bark pattern paper covered boards, each signed by Abbot on the front free endpaper; rubbing to extremities, some nicks to heads and tails of spines.

A complete set of Abbott's charming "Birch Bark" books, each signed or inscribed by Abbot, with another 17 titles present, making nearly another full set.
