A.D. Copier - Glass object, Jar
Cactuspot with dish, designed by A. D. Copier in 1928-1929 for N. V. Glasfabriek Leerdam in the Netherlands. Made of graniver, a kind of pressed glass on which the company obtained a patent in 1921 and which was ideally suited for tiles and pots. The cactus pots were made in several bright colours, as well as round and square versions. This square version has bulges and indentations, which allowed multiple pots to be aligned on the window sill.
