[ translate ]

ADRIAN HEATH
1920-1992
OIL STUDY (PERCHA)

signed, titled and dated '88 on the reverse
biro and oil on canvasboard
17.5 by 15cm.; 6¾ by 6in.

Condition Report:
The board appears stable. The board bows very slightly to the upper left corner. There is slight fraying to the edge of the canvas in places, most notable to the upper right corner, the centre of the lower edge, and to the right edge towards the lower corner. There are a few possible very minor rubs to the work, which may be in line with the Artist's working methods. There are a few possible very minor flattened impasto tips. There is light surface dust and one or two very minor possible specks of surface matter. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light appears to reveal potential fluorescence and restoration to the two central Prussian blue elements.

The work is floated in a canvas slip and presented in a stained wooden frame behind glass.
