The RMS Adriatic was an ocean liner of the White Star Line. Maiden voyage in 1907 to being scrapped in 1934. Metal trunk measures approx. 26" x 17" x 16". Forest & olive drab green paint on exterior with red painted interior. Legge's patented latch on lid. The lid on top has 1906 Adriatic & White Star Line lettering. Trunk contains key. CONDITION: The trunk has a good appearance showing deep dents to lid & scattered flaking of finish (finish is of an indeterminate age). Interior finish very good with flaking. (02-27492/MD).
