#7: Good- (1.8). Slight spine roll, ½x1" piece missing from spine crown, short nicks, 1" tear to back cover, a touch of staple rust, scribbles and name in ink to back cover. Cream to off-white pages.

Wacky stuff, including "The Groping Ghost," in which a blind ghost's handicap enables him to grope gals with impunity, and "Death Drum," in which a man buys an African drum from a curio shop and becomes a bongo-banging beatnik / switchblade killer. Worth it for the beatnik banter alone ("Beat it, boy! Thump that skin!"). The conflation of "race music," licentiousness, and murder hints at the cultural tensions and fears that would share center stage with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Buddy Holly in a few short years.
