Web of Fate: Spider-web cover by Joe Maneely. Maneely was one of writer-editor Stan Lee's favorites, and Lee hoped that Maneely would develop into "another Jack Kirby — he would have been the best you could imagine." Sadly, fate had other plans.

"Lee would later say that, if things had gone differently, he might have quit Marvel to go and work with Maneely on other projects. But one Friday in June, after drinks with a handful of other Timely alumni, Maneely — who'd lost his glasses earlier in the week — fell between cars of his commuter train. He was thirty-two. A devastated Lee lost not only his friend and collaborator, but also one of his most prolific employees." — Sean Howe, Marvel Comics: The Untold Story. Harper: 2012, p. 33.

A limited edition of 150 softcover and 15 hardcover catalogues is available. 400 lots, fully illustrated. Fun reference, great keepsake. Softcover $30, deluxe hardcover with dust jacket and limitation plate $200. Ten of the 15 hardcovers are pre-ordered and the rest will go quickly, so reserve yours now.
