After Alfred Dubucand (French, 1828 – 1894). "Hunting in the Sahara" - 20th century after the 1875 model, cast and patinated bronze, with spurious signature "PJ Mene" in mold to lower right of base. Large Orientalist sculpturedepicting an Arab on a galloping camel while two greyhounds race besides him.Approx. h. 44", w. 44", d. 17.5".
Condition Report: Casting imperfections mainly at tail with an area at the base of the rear of the figure pertruding.
