Oil on board painting. Spanish school, mid to late 17th century. After the ca. 1620 painting titled The Waterseller of Seville by Diego Velazquez, 1599 to 1660, a Spanish Golden Age painter, the leading artist in the court of King Philip IV. The artwork depicts a waterseller surrounded with jugs, a young boy, and a bystander in the background. The original piece exists in two versions, in collections of Apsley House, London and Uffizi Gallery, Florence. Unsigned. There are wax seals on the backside. Golden frame with name plaque.
