Jerónimo Nadal’s meditative treatise Adnotationes et meditationes in Evangelia of 1595 is a foundational Jesuit propaedeutic, it taught the scholastics how to convert the Gospels into exegetical images, which could then be utilised for prayer, preaching, and evangelization.Click here to share:
