The relining has caused some undulation to the canvas, mainly to the left hand side. The paint is wearing thin in some places and there are a few scattered spots of surface dirt throughout There are traces of an old varnish which has been removed. Ultraviolet light reveals evidence of scattered retouching and infilling throughout, notably to the background. Otherwise in fair restored condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
