AFTER THE ANTIQUE, A BRONZE FIGURE OF VENUS CAST BY THE SABATINO DE ANGELIS FOUNDRY, NAPLES, LATE 19TH CENTURYOn incised swept circular socle, the base with applied pressed brass foundry manufacturers plate 'SABATINO, DE ANGELIS & FILS, NAPLES'17cm highCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use.The dark brown patina is quite rubbed and scratched, particularly to the arms, legs, back and any extremities. These areas are a lighter, more golden hue.The upper left arm of Venus with a faint mark across along its circumference.
