Condition Report:
Oil on canvas, lined, not examined out of the frame. The surface is in generally good condition, aside from widely patterned, stable craquelure; a 2 inch diagonal dent at upper right and a pin dot dent at upper left; and a very few tiny losses at the extreme upper right and near the left lower edge. Under UV light, the surface is obscured by an uneven green fluorescing varnish, though scattered brushy dots and small areas of restoration and scattered inpainting to address prior craquelure, an 8 inch area of inpainting at lower center and a 2 1/2 inch area at lower left are still visible.
Offered in a simple gold painted frame.
