Scarce C. 1930's larger sized Service Station advertising Thermometer for Ajax Antifreeze showing Owl graphic with original wood framing. CONDITION: Sign presents excellent color & gloss throughout the field with Thermometer bulb intact and in working order. Sign shows average age wear and scattered surface scratching throughout the field but retains excellent color with clean and clear script. Sign is mounted in its original wood frame showing excellent original aged red paint with nominal wear and no damages. Wood backing as well as thermometer cradle are both in excellent condition showing just average age wear. A beautiful displaying example of unique Service Station Advertising from Ajax.
